Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about scheduling, fees, and how mobile service works.
How much does an on-site estimate cost?
A flat $100 covers a full diagnostic at your location — driveway, campsite, or jobsite. After diagnostics we provide an itemized quote. If you approve, we proceed. If not, you only pay the $100.
What is the emergency / after-hours surcharge?
Calls outside normal business hours, on Sundays, or designated emergencies carry an additional surcharge. The amount is disclosed before dispatch — never tacked on at the invoice.
How does scheduling work?
Use the schedule form to describe the problem. Our system routes it to the right specialist (diesel, full RV, or RV non-electrical). You pick three preferred dates; our secretary confirms one within a business day. We do not schedule on Mondays.
Do you service my area?
We cover all of Utah. Long-distance service may incur a mileage adjustment which we disclose up front.
What brands and engines do you work on?
Cummins, Duramax, and Powerstroke for diesel. All major RV chassis and house systems — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, slide-outs, generators.
Do you offer pre-purchase inspections?
Yes. Structural and mechanical audits with a written report and photos before you buy a used RV or diesel truck.
How do I pay?
Pay-after model. We invoice once work is approved and complete. Major cards accepted; ACH for fleet accounts.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — fully licensed and insured for mobile diesel and RV service in Utah.
What happens if you can't fix it on-site?
Most jobs finish the same day. For deeper issues we coordinate towing or a partner shop and apply your estimate fee toward the larger ticket.
Do you do warranty work?
For specific manufacturers and extended-warranty providers. Mention your coverage in the schedule form and we'll verify before dispatch.
Stuck on the side of the road?
Tell us where you are and what you’re seeing — we’ll match the right technician and propose three available days.
